SINGLE ANNUAL RECEIPT DATE FOR INSTITUTIONAL NRSA APPLICATIONS NIH GUIDE, Volume 24, Number 6, February 17, 1995 P.T. 44 Keywords: Biomedical Research Training Grants Administration/Policy+ National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) announces that it will have a single annual receipt date of May 10 for applications for National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grants (T32). This applies to new, competing renewal, and supplemental applications. This is effective May 10, 1995, when all T32 applications for FY 1996 will be accepted. No applications for FY 1996 will be accepted on the September 10, 1995 and January 10, 1996 receipt dates. The reasons for the change to a single annual receipt date are: (1) to allow improved cost management of competing and non-competing awards; and (2) to enable more uniform review of training grants at single meetings of the AMS Special Grants Review Committee and the National Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Advisory Council.
