Purpose

This Notice provides updated information that Facilities and Administrative (F&A) costs are limited to up to 8 percent of total direct costs for this announcement.

The purpose of this FOA is to enhance the quality and availability of health and safety training for mine workers in the Western United States. As a result, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) invites applications for cooperative agreements to support the development of training and education programs.

The 8% F&A (indirect) cost is consistent with other NIOSH training programs, including Education and Research Centers and Training Project Grants.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
