15-16 AND JUNE 7-8, 2001

National Institutes of Health

Two regional seminars covering topics related to the National 
Institutes of Health extramural program funding and grants 
administration have been scheduled for 2001.  The first will be held 
March 15 and 16 in Houston, Texas, co-hosted by the University of 
Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas Houston Health 
Science Center and University of Texas Galveston Medical Branch.  
The second seminar will be offered June 7 and 8 in Portland, Oregon, 
hosted by Oregon Health Sciences University.

The NIH regional seminars provide participants with an opportunity 
to learn about the NIH funding process, from application through 
post award administration, allowing ample time for informal 
interactions with NIH program, grants management, policy and review 
staff.  Presentations are targeted to new and senior researchers, 
research administrators, post docs and trainees.
