Purpose

On July 28, 2014, NINDS published Funding Opportunity Announcement PAR-14-297 "NINDS CREATE Devices: Translational and Clinical Studies to Inform Final Device Design (UH2/UH3)". The purpose of this Notice is to correct information about the eligibility of foreign institutions. The following sections of PAR-14-297 are modified by this Notice to allow applications from foreign institutions:

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are eligible to apply.
Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.

Foreign Institutions
Foreign (non-U.S.) institutions must follow policies described in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, and procedures for foreign institutions described throughout the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
