Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants to RFA-MH-14-070 "Pediatric Suicide Prevention in Emergency Departments (U01)" that the NIMH is revising Section II. Award Information.

Section II. Award Information

The FOA currently reads:
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards: NIMH intends commit approximately $12,000,000 for this initiative with $2,400,000 in FY 2014 to fund 1 award.

Award Budget: Budgets may not exceed $2,400,000 (total costs) in any one year.  

Award Project Period: The total project period for an application submitted in response to this FOA may not exceed five years.

This FOA is changed to read:
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards: NIMH intends commit approximately $9,000,000 (total costs) for this initiative over a 3 year period to fund 1 award.

Award Budget: Budgets may not exceed $4,000,000 (total costs) in any one year.  

Award Project Period: The total project period for an application submitted in response to this FOA may not exceed three years.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
