Effective immediately, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) accepts investigator-initiated research grants only through PA-07-070 ( http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-07-070.html ). NLM's existing research grant program announcement, PA-06-094, has been replaced by PA-07-070. All applications to PA-07-070 must be submitted in electronic form. NLM's scope of interest and priorities for informatics research have not changed, and are outlined on its web site at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ep/Grants.html . Applications currently in process for PA- 06-094 will be reviewed in the usual way.
