Purpose

In August 2014, the NHLBI issued two related Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs):  RFA-HL-15-015 "Multi-Site Clinical Trials for the Pulmonary Trials Cooperative (PTC) (U01)" and RFA-HL-15-016 "Network Management Core (NEMO) for the Pulmonary Trials Cooperative" (PTC) (U01)." 

As a result of discussions with potential applicants, we are providing a list of answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that are relevant to one or both FOAs.

The FAQs are available at http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/research/funding/opportunities/faq-pulmonary-trials-coop.html.  All applicants are encouraged to review the FAQs prior to submitting their application.
