Purpose
On March 20, 2014, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Pediatric Trauma and Critical Illness Branch (PTCIB) issued the Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) RFA-HD-14-022 "Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (UG1)", and RFA-HD-14-020 "Data Coordinating Center for the Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (U01)".
A public Pre-Application Meeting/Webinar will be held at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide prospective applicants with an overview of the FOAs and to address questions pertinent to preparing applications. Prospective applicants may attend the meeting in person, or participate via webinar. Questions should be submitted via email at least one week in advance of the meeting to Tammara Jenkins (tjenkins@mail.nih.gov).
Participation in the meeting, although encouraged, is optional and not required for application submission. There is no registration or fee requirement for this public pre-application meeting, but space is limited. To better facilitate meeting planning, we highly encourage investigators who may attend the meeting (both in person and via webinar) to notify us in advance (preferably by email) of their intent to participate.
