The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) have issued a Letter of Invitation (LOI) for a limited competition for competitive supplements to existing U10 cooperative agreements for the Mentored Specialized Clinical Investigator Development Award (MSCIDA) in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Units (MFMU) Network and Neonatal Research Network (NRN). The objective of the LOI for the MSCIDA is to encourage fellows or junior faculty in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine to develop skills in designing, executing, and interpreting research with emphasis in maternal-fetal and neonatal clinical trials research. One application per site per network (MFMU and NRN) will be accepted on behalf of fellows or junior faculty, who will be board eligible or certified in Neonatology or Maternal Fetal Medicine, affiliated with Departments that have an active cooperative agreement in the NICHD Neonatal Research Network (NRN) or Maternal Fetal Medicine Units (MFMU) Network.
