PRE-APPLICATION WORKSHOP FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS TO RFA-HD-00-019, COOPERATIVE REPRODUCTIVE SCIENCE RESEARCH CENTERS AT MINORITY INSTITUTIONS Release Date: January 25, 2001 NOTICE: NOT-HD-01-005 National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (http://www.nichd.nih.gov) The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) will convene an information/technical assistance pre-application workshop for investigators planning to submit applications in response to RFA HD-00-019, Cooperative Reproductive Science Research Centers at Minority Institutions. The purpose of this meeting is to provide prospective applicants with an opportunity to receive answers to their questions about the intent and requirements of the RFA. NICHD staff will be available to discuss all aspects of the proposed new program, including: the cooperative agreement mechanism, the roles of the Steering Committee and Advisory Board, the expected interactions among funded centers, the benefits of collaborative partnerships, the role of NICHD program staff, development of the application, the review process, grants management, and other appropriate questions. Potential applicants to the RFA are not required to attend this workshop.
