Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) announces its participation, effective immediately, on the Program Announcement (PA) PAR-10-146 (R21), entitled Social Network Analysis and Health.

The NIGMS Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology supports research and research training including  social and behavioral modeling. This new program seeks to encourage research in systems science approaches to health – including modeling approaches such as systems dynamics, agent based modeling, and network analysis.
