The purpose of this notice is to announce an update to the institutional eligibility criteria for the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) awards (see PAR-06-548). Effective for the May 15, 2007 application submission/receipt date, community colleges which offer degree programs and curricula with a strong focus on biomedical or behavioral sciences are eligible to apply for a RISE grant.
