Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to change the Funds Available, Anticipated Number of Awards and Award Budget for RFA-FD-12-028.

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

The number of awards is contingent upon FDA appropriations, and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.  FDA intends to commit up to $250,000 in Fiscal Year 2012. Future year amounts will depend on annual appropriations.

It is anticipated that up to two (2) awards will be made, not to exceed $125,000 in total costs (direct plus indirect) per award, per year.

Funding will be provided for one year, with the possibility of up to four years of additional support, contingent on performance and continued availability of federal funds.

Award Budget

Application budgets are not limited, but need to reflect actual needs of the proposed project.  The amount of financial assistance requested from FDA may not exceed $125,000 per year.
