Purpose
The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) is joining the National Eye Institute (NEI) on RFA-EY-04-001 “Non-invasive Imaging for Diabetic Retinopathy” (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-EY-04-001.html).

The NIBIB intends to commit approximately $250,000 in FY 2005 towards RFA-EY-04-001 to support development and application of non-invasive imaging technology that is practical, affordable, and accessible for early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.
