Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the receipt date for PAR-06-446 ( http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-06-446.html ) has been changed to July 23, 2006 and will use the "Modular Only" budget for that one receipt date. ANOTHER IMPORTANT CHANGE IS THAT THE NIDA R36 MECHANISM WILL NOW PERMIT TWO RESUBMISSIONS.

PAR-06-446 will be expired on July 24, 2006 ; and NIDA will then publish an updated funding opportunity announcement (FOA) that will use the non-modular ( detailed only ) budget. THE UPDATE FOA WILL ALSO PERMIT TWO RESUBMISSIONS.
