Purpose
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) will hold a public pre-application teleconference on December 2, 2014 at 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. (EST) for four related Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs):
1) RFA-CA-14-014 entitled "The Early Detection Research Network: Biomarker Developmental Laboratories (U01)";
2) RFA-CA-14-015 entitled "The Early Detection Research Network: Clinical Validation Centers (U01)";
3) RFA-CA-14-016 entitled "The Early Detection Research Network: Biomarker Reference Laboratories (U24)"; and
4) RFA-CA-14-017 entitled "The Early Detection Research Network: Data Management and Coordinating Center (U24)".
NCI staff members involved in managing this program will provide technical assistance to potential applicants by explaining the goals and objectives of this initiative and answering questions from attendees. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit their questions or comments to srivasts@mail.nih.gov in advance of the teleconference.
Registration: Potential applicants interested in participating in the teleconference should send a message to sharmistha.ghosh-janjigian@nih.gov to obtain registration information no later than 5:00 p.m. (EST) November 21, 2014. Please include "NCI Technical Assistance Webinar for EDRN FOAs” in the subject line of the email.
Participation in this teleconference, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for the submission of an application in response to RFA-CA-14-014, RFA-CA-14-015, RFA-CA-14-016, or RFA-CA-14-017.
