Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) will participate in RFA-ES-11-002, entitled "Dietary Influence on the Human Health Effects of Environmental Exposures (R21)," effective immediately. The NCI seeks applications that are focused on dietary bioactive food components as modifiers of cancer risks and tumor behavior using preclinical models or human investigations. Applications that are focused on the interactions between bioactive food components and human genetic variants for cancer are also being sought.
