This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NCI is amending Program Announcement PA-06-280 ( http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-06-280.html ), Understanding the Effects of Emerging Cellular, Molecular, and Genomic Technologies on Cancer Health Care Delivery (R01) , in the following way.

In Section II. Award Information , 1. Mechanism(s) of Support, it is stated that The total project period for an R01 application submitted in response to this funding opportunity may not exceed 3 years. That maximum time limit is now void; from this point forward, the maximum permissible total project period for any applications and future awards is hereby increased to 5 years .
