The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is amending RFA-AI-04-045 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-AI-04-045.html), entitled Centers for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation as follows:

Under Section II. Award Information, 2. Funds Available: An applicant may request a project period of up to 5 years and a budget for total costs (direct plus Facilities and Administrative [F&A] costs) of up to $5 million per year.

Applicants are encouraged to contact NIH program staff well in advance of the application submission date to discuss the proposed research program. While discussion with program staff does not ensure funding, staff will be able to determine responsiveness to this RFA and provide appropriate guidance as needed.
