Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants of the National Institute on Aging (NIA)'s intent to participate, effective immediately, in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-NS-13-013, entitled "Collaborative Research on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and Delayed Effects of Traumatic Brain Injury: Neuropathology and Neuroimaging Correlation (U01)."

For this FOA, specific topics of interest to NIA include:

The characterization of the neuropathology associated with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and the delayed effects of traumatic brain injury and relationship with aging.
